This is in contrast to the laser ablation<\/strong> of the prostate, which essentially evaporates prostate tissue. Other procedures such as bipolar TURP<\/a> also generate prostatic tissue that can be evaluated by a pathologist.<\/p>\n Experienced urologists are able to achieve excellent results with laser enucleation of the prostate<\/strong>, especially for large prostate glands. For smaller prostates, prostate enucleation, laser ablation of the prostate, or TURP produces adequate results.<\/p>\n Laser enucleation of the prostate<\/strong> has an edge in the treatment of very large prostates<\/a>, greater than 80-100 g, which can be more completely removed with laser enucleation of the prostate.
