AETNA Health Insurance Covers Urolift for BPH for Men in NYC and Nationwide.<\/h1>\n

Urolift Procedure – AETNA Insurance Coverage.<\/h2>\n

We have been successful in getting AETNA to approve and pay for the Urolift procedure for our patients.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

It is important that the patient’s eligibility for the Urolift procedure is established through a thorough evaluation.  In general men with favorable anatomy, symptoms of BPH, and desire for non-invasive treatment or side effects to medications are eligible.<\/b><\/p>\n

At New York Urology Specialists, we can perform the Urolift procedure for men with AETNA regardless of their mailing address.  All procedures are performed in our office in New York City or affiliated surgical centers. <\/p>\n

Treatment involves a quick outpatient procedure. Men traveling from other states and countries can usually return home the next day after the procedure. AETNA international insurance requires pre-certification to determine if the procedure will be covered by an international plan.<\/p>\n

Does AETNA Cover Urolift Procedure?<\/h2>\n

 AETNA covers the Urolift procedure for patients nationwide, including those in NY, NJ, CT, and PA.  <\/p>\n

Typically the procedure is covered for men over age 50.  For younger men, insurance pre-authorization will be necessary to establish coverage from AETNA.<\/p>\n

We offer personalized treatment options for BPH<\/a> for men with symptoms of an enlarged prostate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Urolift System is Covered by Aetna health insurance policies as well as Coventry health plans.<\/strong><\/h1>\n
