In general, tamsulosin has mild side effects. <\/p>\n The most bothersome side effect that men experience is dizziness,<\/strong> which typically resolves within 2-3 days. For this reason, Flomax is usually taken at night before going to sleep so that dizziness, if it occurs, happens during sleep. Some people feel groggy or tired in the morning<\/strong> \u2013 if it persists, see a doctor. The other bothersome symptom that some men experience is a lack of ejaculation<\/strong>. Lack of ejaculation or unejaculation is not dangerous and reversible<\/strong> once a patient stops Flomax. Men who experience unejaculation can orgasm. Ejaculation and orgasm are two separate functions that tend to occur together.<\/p>\n For men who experienced side effects from Flomax, trying a different medication such as Uroxatral (alfuzosin), terazosin, or Rapaflo often works well. Usually, they often do not experience side effects from the alternative medication. <\/p>\n If Flomax does not help<\/strong> or if a patient experiences side effects to replacement medication such as alfuzosin or Rapaflo<\/a>, other treatment options include Urolift procedure<\/a>, REZUM, <\/a>and laser prostate enucleation<\/a>.
