Insurance Coverage for Circumcision Revision
Circumcision revision is sometimes covered by medical insurance in particular if performed for a medically necessary reason such as pain or penile curvature. We require prepayment for circumcision revision. Part of or the full cost of circumcision revision may be covered by commercial insurance plans after deductibles/coinsurances/copayments if circumcision revision is performed for a medically necessary reason and if you have out-of-network benefits. If circumcision revision is performed for non-medical or aesthetic reasons, medical insurance does not typically cover the costs of circumcision.

- Need for complex reconstruction, grafts/flaps may incur additional fees. More complex procedures are sometimes performed in the office under local anesthesia and other times may require to be performed in a surgical center under general anesthesia.

When does Insurance Pay for Circumcision Revision?
Insurances pay for circumcision revision occasionally when there is a medical need. In other words, when the residual foreskin or scar is causing a problem. Examples include:
