Who Can Have Same Day Consultation and Circumcision Revision?

Your safety is our over-riding concern.  We can perform same-day circumcision revision for patients that are healthy (no major medical problems, not taking blood thinners such as coumadin, aspirin, Lovenox, Plavix, etc), do not have major medical problems (liver problems, kidney problems, poorly controlled diabetes, major heart problems).

Ideally, there should not an infection in the groin area or penis area.   

For men who are not at the prime of their medical health, same day circumcision revision may not be always possible. Patients should understand that circumcision revision will not be performed should the doctor think that it is not safe or prudent to have the circumcision the same day.  That said, more than 85% of the time the circumcision revision procedures can be performed on the same day as the consultation, as planned.
 
Occasionally, patients come for same-day consultation and circumcision revision and after evaluation, it is discovered that circumcision revision is not the treatment of choice – in that situation, there is no obligation for the patient other than the cost of the consultation.

This requires a non-refundable reservation fee for the regular visit that must be paid when making the appointment (Refundable if canceled at least 1 week in advance).
