\"\"<\/a><\/strong>Circumcision<\/strong><\/a> is often covered by medical insurance<\/strong> if performed for a medically necessary reason,<\/strong> such as foreskin tightness (phimosis<\/a>), skin irritation and redness, or infection (balanitis).<\/span>   <\/p>\n

Most insurance companies will cover the cost of circumcision when it is performed in a surgical center or hospital.  Many insurances do not cover the cost when it is performed under local anesthesia in our office.<\/p>\n
