ED is a Common Problem Experienced by Younger and Older Men
Erectile dysfunction or ED is very common. The problem seems to be particularly pronounced in NYC due to a number of overlapping factors including stress, prevailing anxiety, new relationships, and a large number of men with medical problems such as high blood pressure, cholesterol who take multiple medications that can affect libido and erectile function.

Hormonal Imbalances as a Cause of ED
Hormonal imbalances include such conditions as low testosterone levels or high estrogen levels. Men with severe obesity can have high estrogen levels due to the conversion of testosterone to estrogen by the fat cells. Men with hyperprolactinemia or high prolactin levels can have secondary erectile dysfunction due to hormonal imbalances.
Men with abnormal thyroid hormone levels due to abnormal thyroid gland function can develop erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction most often occurs in association with hypothyroidism.
Men with abnormal pituitary gland function may also present with erectile dysfunction. The pituitary gland is crucial for the regulation of many body processes. Pituitary gland dysfunction can lead to very low testosterone levels or very high testosterone levels. Diabetes is also a common cause of ED.

Peripheral Vascular Disease as a Cause of ED
Arterial vascular disease is a common cause of erectile dysfunction. Men with arterial vascular disease are often unaware that they have this problem. For many men, erectile dysfunction is the first noticeable sign of vascular dysfunction.
Yet when we carefully evaluate men with erectile dysfunction we often find that they may have cardiac disease and other signs of peripheral vascular disease.
Common signs of peripheral vascular disease include leg claudication (spasms of the calf muscles, thigh muscles, and occasionally buttocks). These are known as Horse Charlie’s. Loss of leg hair is another sign of peripheral vascular disease; legs and feet can often be cold to touch due to poor blood supply; wounds on the feet can take a long time to heal, especially in diabetic men with peripheral vascular disease.
Stress and Psychological Causes of ED: Performance Anxiety and Situational ED
Severe and chronic stress is known to be an important cause of erectile dysfunction in younger men as well as in older men. Relationship problems can cause significant stress and contribute to erectile dysfunction. This often sets a vicious circle that makes it even more difficult to get good erections. Anxiety about the ability to perform in bed can often lead to erectile dysfunction through the same biological mechanisms as other sources of stress.

100% perfect circumcision by via HealthGrades.com on Jan 21, 2021Dr. Shteynshlyuger did what I would call an 100% perfect circumcision on me. I can’t even find my scar. He cut the precise right amount of skin. I now feel extremely happy, confident, and proud of how it looks. I am 100% satisfied with my results and I would recommend him to any guy seeking an adult circumcision. I healed in 5.5 weeks but his recommendation is 6 weeks to heal so that means zero “activity” for 6 weeks to avoid damaging the stitching. The surgical glue I pulled off at 5.5 weeks. It is important to not remove it before! The lower posterior of my shaft did not look good at first, especially w/ the surgical glue on it, but over weeks it looked better and better w/ the final results by 5.5-6 weeks being excellent When the doctor injected the anesthetic, it was painful since he must inject it deep ~6-8times. During the surgery my discomfort was maybe a 1/10, so tolerable. Make sure to buy lots of bandages/gauze before/after for daily change for 5-6 weeks

When my condition first started I saw four different urologists over a period of about 6 months. All four either laughed me out of their office saying there’s nothing they could do to help, that my pain was normal, or prescribed me something that did not help or made everything worse. I prepared to live my life (22 years old now) with chronic pain that made participating in every day activities extremely difficult. Finally after getting the courage to start looking for new doctors again I found Dr. Alex Shteynshlyuger and decided to give his office a call. I proceeded to see him shortly after my call, and now a few visits and months later I am finally able to enjoy life again. Dr. Alex took the time to do the tests that other doctors did not even mention. He took different approaches, gave well explained answers to all of my questions, and made me feel like there are some doctors who really do care. He performed a Shang Ring circumcision for me and the procedure went well. I’m pleased with the results and there were no complications. If anyone is interested in the shang ring circumcision in the tristate area, then I’d recommend him. The whole procedure is $1850, which includes the initial consultation (provided that ther are no complications) and every follow up visit up to six months.
