His wife wanted to think about it.<\/p>\n The patient was seen a month later with his wife. He wants to proceed with a penile implant. The different options were discussed including the 3-piece<\/strong> and 2-piece inflatable penile implants<\/strong><\/a>, and semi-rigid penile prosthesis<\/a><\/strong>. The patient has good hand function and fairly healthy. He decided to go with a 2-piece inflatable penile implant<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n At the follow-up visit 2 weeks after undergoing penile implant surgery with AMS Ambicor 2-piece inflatable penile prosthesis<\/strong>. He was able to go home the same day after the procedure. He took pain medications for a few days but did not have much pain. Physical exam revealed swelling and bruising that are typical to find two weeks after surgery. He was taught how to inflate and deflate the implant but has some tenderness when doing so. <\/p>\n TD has no pain at this point, he cycles the implant by inflating and deflating it daily. The physical exam revealed that the incision is well healed. He was advised that he can use the implant for sexual activity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The patient is 3 months after penile implant surgery<\/strong>. He has been successfully<\/strong> engaging in sexual activity. He has no difficulty inflating or deflating the implant.
