Up to 30-35% of men have penile pearly papules. Penile pearly papules tend to appear around puberty. Penile pearly papules are more common in uncircumcised men, but also occur in circumcised men. It is not clear if penile pearly papules are more common in black men or if they cause more concern because penile pearly papules are more noticeable in black men due to skin color contrast.
