If anyone is interested in the shang ring circumcision in the tristate area, then I'd recommend him. He described to me that BPH is mainly cell growth around the urethra, not on the outer layers of the prostate. Reducing the diameter of urethra by half (1/2) reduces the flowrate to 1/16 (or by 94%)! (This is from the Poiseuille equation ‘Flowrate ~ diameter^4’ - when other factors are unchanged). With my Ph. D. and forty-year experience in engineering, it never occurred to me to relate urine flow to this simple physical phenomenon. Only when Dr. Alex started explaining the physics of LUTS, I made the connection! A relatively small enlargement in prostate volume has drastically reduced the urine flowrate!I was treated by a relatively simple and less invasive procedure by Dr. Alex and his exemplary staff and within less than a month my restroom visits became like ten years ago in frequency and duration! A small reduction in prostate volume increased the flow rate substantially!Dr. Alex read all the forms I filled and all the lab reports. He even read all the reports about my five-year history of LUTS from Sri Lanka! He also respected my opinion, when I did not want urodynamic testing, he complied. I came to see Dr. Alex out of near desperation after consulting with three other urologists about pain and burning. None of the other urologists were able to help diagnose what my problem was and seemingly didn't take my problem very seriously. After 6 weeks of suffering, I saw Dr. Alex. He examined me and gave me some tests and lab work. He very quickly ascertained what my problem was. He prescribed medicine to deal with my pain in the short-term and keep my problem in check over the long-term. My pain and discomfort quickly disappeared. Today, 5 years later, I feel great. Dr. Alex listens to you as a patient, takes your health concerns seriously and knows his field inside-and-out so that you can get proper treatment for your problem. I came to see Dr. Alex out of near desperation after consulting with 3 other urologists. Literally over one night, I began experiencing severe penile pain and burning. None of the other urologists were able to diagnose what my problem was and seemingly didn't take my problem very seriously. After 6 weeks of pain and not getting any answers, I saw Dr. Alex. He gave me an examination, some tests and related lab work. He very quickly ascertained that my problem was due to an enlarged prostate.
