Urinary and Bladder Health
Urinary problems such as frequent urination and slow urinary stream are fairly common. We offer a thorough evaluation to come up with the correct diagnosis. Correct diagnosis is crucial for a rational and effective treatment of bladder problems in men. It is important to determine whether the problem originates in the bladder, prostate or the urethra as the symptoms are similar. Once a diagnosis is made, an effective treatment option can be chosen. We offer some of the most effective treatment options based on the latest science. All treatments that we use have been shown to be safe and effective in highly regarded scientific studies published in top medical journals.
For men with bladder stones, we can treat bladder stones using the Holmium laser or EHL (electrohydraulic lithotripsy).
In our office, we can perform urinalysis and urine culture testing for UTI. We also do sophisticated testing that includes uroflow, post-void residual (PVR) and complex uroflow with voiding urodynamics to establish the correct diagnosis.
