• Most men are able to return to work that requires a significant physical activity within 1-5 days after circumcision.
• Patients should not plan on going to the beach or go swimming for at least 2 weeks after circumcision.
• Patients should not have sex or masturbate for 6 weeks after circumcision
• Men can go to the GYM as soon as they are comfortable. Avoid any activity that involves the penis or scrotum for 1 week: biking, etc.
• Swelling should improve within 2 weeks after circumcision.
• Difficulty with urination and a split urinary stream may occur in the first week after circumcision.
• Sutures are dissolvable but sometimes may need to removed to speed up recovery.
