Who is a Candidate for Frenuloplasty Revision?

For men who had a prior frenulectomy performed and who are unhappy with the appearance of the frenulum and the penis, we offer frenuloplasty revision.  About 5% of men require frenuloplasty revision as the initial frenuloplasty may not resolve the symptoms completely.

Frenuloplasty revision can also be performed for men who had prior circumcision who had partial, incomplete or did not have frenuloplasty performed at the time of circumcision.

Frenuloplasty RevisionHow Long Does It Take to Perform Frenuloplasty Revision?

Frenuloplasty revision takes the same time to perform as a frenuloplasty. It can often be performed in 20-30 minutes, usually under local anesthesia.

What is the Recovery after Penile Frenuloplasty Revision?

Recovery time is similar to recovery after frenuloplasty.

Is It Possible to Perform Frenuloplasty Revision or Frenuloplasty and Circumcision at the Same Time?

Yes. We can perform a frenuloplasty revision at the same time as circumcision.
