In response to numerous patient requests, we are making same-day frenulectomy / frenuloplasty consultations and frenuloplasty procedures available to patients.  We offer convenient weekend hours for same-day consultations and frenuloplasty service.

 

Our new same-day service can save literally thousands of dollars for patients who are traveling for frenuloplasty from other cities and other countries.  

 

Same-day frenuloplasty is performed under local anesthesia.  If you wish to have general anesthesia, same-day consultation and frenuloplasty are not possible.  Over 90% of our patients choose to have frenuloplasty under local anesthesia.

For men who are not at the prime of their medical health, same-day frenuloplasty may not always be possible. Patients should understand that frenuloplasty will not be performed should the doctor think that it is not safe or prudent to have frenuloplasty the same day.  That said, more than 90% of the time frenuloplasty can be performed on the same day as consultation as planned.

 

The choice is yours.  There are no obligations to have a frenuloplasty. If you choose to have frenuloplasty on a different day, want to take time to think about it, or not to have it at all, you are free to change your mind after the consultation.

 

Occasionally, a patient comes for a frenuloplasty consultation but is found to have a problem that is not caused by frenulum and does not need frenuloplasty. There is no obligation other than the cost of the visit itself.  

 

Sometimes patients are found to have frenulum breve as well as an additional problem that contributes to symptoms such as phimosis, which may be treated with circumcision. Often, same-day circumcision and frenuloplasty can be performed.

Because we reserve a significant amount of time for you, same-day consultation and frenuloplasty options require some commitment on your part. This requires a non-refundable reservation fee for the regular visit that must be paid when making the appointment (Refundable if canceled at least 1 week in advance). This ‘reservation fee’ fee must be prepaid by PayPal, debit card, cash, or credit card.

 

The fee is non-refundable and equal to the cost of the consultation should you miss the appointment. If the patient decides to have surgery the same day, the additional payment for the frenuloplasty procedure is due prior to the procedure.

 

If you do not wish to pay a non-refundable fee, you can still make an appointment and schedule frenuloplasty on a different day.

 

If after the consultation, the patient decides not to have the frenuloplasty the same day, there is no further obligation other than the office visit/consultation fee which is non-refundable.
