Urolift Procedure – The Empire Plan Insurance Coverage.
The Empire Plan (by UHC) covers treatment with Urolift for men who suffer from symptoms of the enlarged prostate such as slow urine stream, frequent urination, and incomplete bladder emptying.
At New York Urology Specialists, we can perform the Urolift procedure for men with the Empire Plan regardless of their mailing address. Urolift for BPH is an outpatient, same-day procedure that takes less than 1 hour to perform. Men are typically able to go home 1-1.5 hours after the procedure.
